A 100% Agave Blanco Tequila from the Camarena family (including the brands El Tesoro, Tapatio) in cooperation with Tomas Estes (Cafe Pacifico, La Perla). Ocho tequilas are all "single estate" productions, which means that the agaves are all exclusively ploughed by individual dedicated fields ("terroir").
🍹 Aroma and flavour
Aroma: Intense agave: Dominant notes of freshly roasted, sweet agave, A bright scent of citrus zest (lime and grapefruit) provides liveliness, Subtle hints of fresh grass. A fine trace of white pepper and a touch of cinnamon complete the bouquet
Taste: The first impression is often characterised by a natural agave sweetness, reminiscent of overripe fruits. Due to the high location of the field (over 2,000 metres), it shows a striking mineral note, reminiscent of moist earth or stone. The focus is on spicy notes of pepper and a slight herbal bitterness that provides structure.
